The basic training suit consists of a bat-shaped jacket, called KIMONO. This peculiar shape is designed to offer greater protection to the chest, back, shoulders and arms. Another peculiarity is the pants. The ankles are made wider than normal to make it easier to put on the pants without having to take off your shoes.
