Starmark® Pro-Training Collar (Plastic Prong-Style)

The Starmark Pro-Training Collar is a gentle-but-effective training collar with an interlocking, pronged plastic design that looks like an ordinary flat collar. The rounded plastic links spread even pressure around the neck to help discourage pulling and lunging — a popular, humane alternative for handlers who want prong-style communication in a lighter, plastic form (and a useful option where metal prong collars aren't permitted).

Choosing a size — add or remove links to fine-tune; as a rough breed guide:

• Small (15"): smaller and medium dogs — Spaniels, Border Collies, Staffies, Whippets
• Large (21"): larger, broad-necked dogs — Labradors, German Shepherds, Boxers, Rottweilers, Dobermanns

It should fit snug but not tight, sitting high on the neck — you should be able to slip 2–3 fingers between the collar and neck, and it should not pull off over the head.
