Choosing a size — the measurement is the total collar length; pick by your dog's size and the stoppers fine-tune the fit:

• 45cm – Small: Whippets, French Bulldogs, mini breeds and small terriers
• 55cm – Medium: Cocker Spaniels, Border Collies, Staffies, Beagles
• 65cm – Large: Labradors, German Shepherds, Boxers, Pointers
• 75cm – X-Large: Rottweilers, Dobermanns, Mastiffs and broad-necked bull breeds

As a general rule, you should be able to fit two fingers between the collar and your dog's neck — if you can't, it's too tight.
