Herm Sprenger 1.5mm Twin O-Ring Micro-Plus Prong Collar

£24.00

The Herm Sprenger 1.5mm Micro-Plus Prong Collar is the smallest gauge in the brand's range — engineered specifically for toy and very small breeds where the standard 2.25mm is too coarse and disproportionate to the dog's frame.

The stainless steel Ultra Plus is available with double fixed rings to enhance the versatility of the collar by allowing both rings to be attached to the lead simultaneously for more direct correction.

Best suited to dogs under 7kg — Chihuahuas, Italian Greyhounds, Toy Fox Terriers, Maltese, Pomeranians, Miniature Pinschers, Brussels Griffons, Westies, Whippets, Havanese, Japanese Chin, Miniature Schnauzers, and similarly-sized breeds

Please note: As with any training tool, you must condition the dog to the tool to ensure the best results. Training tools and equipment do not magically fix issues, but when introduced and conditioned properly, can improve and build strong communication between you and your dog.

We do not condone the improper use of our training prong collars. We strongly recommend seeking professional advice before utilising any training tool. To browse our list of dog trainers and behaviourists, please click here.

Not sure if this is the right collar for your dog?

Choosing the correct prong collar comes down to three things: link thickness, collar length, and material. As a general rule, link thickness should be matched to your dog's size and weight. Lighter dogs suit the 2.25mm, while larger or stronger breeds typically need the 3.0mm or above. For fit, measure your dog's neck just behind the ears and under the jawline, where the collar should sit snugly when in use.
